Commissioned in July 2019, COSMIC TRILOGY is a site-specific installation located at Villa Lula along the Côte d’Azur. Inspired by the rich interplay of natural and constructed elements surrounding the villa, the work reimagines the LAND (roads, pathways, stone walls, channels), the WATER (where the Mediterranean Sea meets the coastal edge), and the SKY (star constellations visible over Cannes on Bastille Day, 1789) as a unified cosmic expression.

The trilogy unfolds in two sculptural parts, designed to resonate with the villa’s environment and architecture. Walls within the piece shift—opening and closing the interior space—creating a dynamic dialogue between physical movement and visual perception. These architectural gestures reflect the fluid boundaries between pathways and roads, sea and shore, earth and sky.

As much a meditation on place as on time, COSMIC TRILOGY collapses history, geography, and astronomy into a single moment of spatial experience.
