Highlights from the Modern Design Collection, 1900 to the Present, Part II opened May 23, 2011 at The Metropolitan Museum in the LAW Wing – Design and Architecture Gallery.

| Tom’s table piece Rotated Rectangle (In Memory of Rowena Reed) was recently acquired by the Met’s Department of Nineteenth-Century, Modern, and Contemporary Art and is currently on display.

| The installation of modern and contemporary design objects also features new acquisitions and other important works from the past century to the present, including René Lalique’s “Swan” necklace of opals and amethysts, a chair by Henry Van de Velde, and a room divider by Ettore Sottsass.
